The publishing industry is a living, breathing, dynamic world, changing and growing, evolving and moving in many directions. Editors switch publishers, magazines change names, publishers add or subtract imprints. New technology opens new frontiers, and no one knows where the final shoe will drop – if it ever does.

In this blog, I try to keep on top of the changes necessary for writers of genre fiction (science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, and maybe some romance). What markets are currently open? What agents are accepting submissions or changing agencies?

I doubt I'll be able to keep up on everything, but I'll do the best I can.
